Pumpkin carving is fun, but after years of gushing my hands through slimy pumpkin innards I had enough.  Plus knives scare me anymore :)  The best way to "carve" a pumpkin is to paint a pumpkin.  Painting a pumpkin is simple and easy to do.

But, not everyone is as good at painting as I am (You may have seen some of my work on the ceilings of Italian cathedrals in Milano).  Seriously though, our pumpkin painting mini-masterpieces turned out so well, that now they are our family’s trademark for the Halloween season.

Our house is the envy of the entire neighborhood. Families make special trips just to drive by to see the Painted Pumpkins!  And every year, neighbors comment on how beautiful our home looks during the season.

What you need to do for the perfect painted pumpkin display is this:

• Photos of other pumpkins to look at
• Pumpkin face designs to cut out
• Basic painting supplies

Many of these things can be found at your local grocery store but I actually found a site that contains everything you need create cool pumpkin masterpieces like mine.

 We were surprised that he could stay on TV, and now this is just downright shocking. That’s right, Dog the Bounty Hunter has a costume out in all his white trash glory, so get into the minivan and go kick some doors down. The costume includes a viny vest, wig, sunglasses, a bandge on a chain, fingerless gloves and a knife with a strap. Available in large and XL.

Last year I blogged with much success about the Nintendo Wii.  The post was written because the impending pre-order and release of the Wii.  I noticed, using trends, that Wii was getting searched upon quite frequently.  I knew also that Walmart was accepting pre-orders soon. 

I then took the opportunity to first of all, plug the new Nintendo Wii, and then secondly, plug the Wii pre-sales using my Walmart affiliate link. The end result was that I pre-sold 14 Nintentdo Wii units within one week.  This turned out to be a nice little check to help with buying presents.

This time I’ve noticed a buzz at the local malls for the newest and hottest, gotta have kids toy… Fisher-Price Smart Cycle Physical Learning Arcade System:

Short and sweet, this is an interactive video game for kids that helps them learn everything from the alphabet to math.  I like the Smart Cycle so much that I bought two of them for my nephews!  Hey, dad could use some math tutoring and some exercise…right?  This is why it would make a great Fathers Day gift.

Go ahead and see for yourself this buzz that is encompassing the Smart Cycle.  Next thing you know your wife will be asking you two months from now if you picked on up yet…only to see that they are the next Tickle Me Elmo or Cabbage Patch Doll.

It is amazing how many shareware, malware, spyware and real DVD software programs  are out there.  I thought my time would be best spend reviewing products from companies that also have an affiliate program (hey, I do this kind of stuff for fun so I’ve got to pay the bills somehow).

Many of the sites that I came across displayed claims of not even needing a DVD burner, free video players, subscription services and all sorts of other incentives.  Soon after purchasing a few DVD software copying "programs" I started to run into something peculiar.

Most of the sites were not actually giving me a program to copy DVDs at all!   It became apparent that around 80% of the DVD Copy sites I had reviewed only provided e-books explaining HOW to burn and copy DVDs. While not completely useless,  I felt really scammed that I could not make a backup of my director’s cut of Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure DVD with the "program."  I only knew where to find the programs to do so.  I guess if you are looking for an e-book to copy DVD programs, then go right ahead, but seriously…who really is looking for a stupid e-book when you only want to copy a DVD?

With price tags ranging from 19 to 49 dollars be sure to check the fine print which always seemed to be listed in the FAQ.

Tip: E-book DVD Copying Sites usually have really crazy flash animated headers.

If you want my opinion, stick to the department stores that actually sell  DVD copying software in a box.  There is a good chance that the product is not an e-book.

Most are probably great in their own light. But, here’s one thing that really bothers me about ALL these products.

So, the goal of the product is to teach “US” how to make money, right? Yet, they sell the products based on how much that “GURU” is earning?

Again, I’m not saying that the guru doesn’t make that much money, I’m sure he/she does. However, how does that help “me?”

Just because someone is good at making money does NOT mean they’re good at TEACHING us how to do it. I’m always shocked at how none of them talk about what their “students” make.

Crappy Testimonials…

To top it off, a lot of testimonials are general and just say “Oh yea, this course is great…” and most of time the testimonials are just from their “buddies” – I think these hardly carry any value!

How about sharing the “exact” amount that the students are now making 100% thanks to the course that they’re trying to sell us?

Anyways, that was my rant. The reason I thought about it was because, yes, there is yet another course being “re” launched soon. Trust me, if you haven’t heard about it you will.
