Labor Day for the states is this today…even I need a break to maintain my sanity. Don’t get me wrong, I love writing stuff, but I need to observe labor day too, even if I am totally opposed to manual labor. So, for a break to all of this internet marketing and viral stuff shinannigans, I’ve decided to post some labor day fun for you in the form of facts, fun labor day recipes, and other cool fun stuff to do on labor day.
Labor day was first observed in the form of a parade (tell me that aint fun) September 5th, 1882 in New York City. Word has it this parade was formed by a carpenters union. So this is proof that labor day has nothing to do with delivering babies!
Almost 150 million people are in the labor force, so there are many who are more than happy to take monday off to bbq and have fun on labor day.
