You know, my Uncle used to always say, if you wear something long enough, it is bound to come back in style. Of course, he was talking about his tan leather jacket from 1977. BUT, the same could be said about the new Furby toys for 2012…except you didn’t wear them. Maybe you were like many back in the 90’s, and bought a few from eBay and stored them in your closet or attic.
I’m not sure how much the old Furby’s increased in value, but what can be said about the new Furby is that they will certainly be a popular item this coming holiday season, for a couple reasons. One being nostalgia (yeah, suck it up, part of the 90s is from 20 years ago), and the other is, well, kids demand stuff like this. Not sure why, but having kids I just know they do.
Walmart is selling these new guys and according to their website, this is a “Top Toy.” This time around for 2012, the Furby comes in many new colors: Pink, Orange, Yellow, Teal, FURBY, Black, White, Purple.
Also, plenty of accessories can be found such as a Furby Chair. Yes…a chair…because your Furby that just sits there anyways needs a chair to relax in.
For your Furby on the go needs, here is the Furby Sling Bag…(Billy Bob Thorton not included). I guess if these things could get heavy at times. Well, I guess you can use it for more than just carrying your Furby around. Kids can also carry their PHONE or MP3 player, sold separately of course. Oh, also, this comes with a Furby headset so that it can pretend to listen to your Justin Bieber MP3s.
